These terms govern your use of the VerdaraX iOS application ("the app", "we", "our"). By installing or using VerdaraX you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
VerdaraX provides agricultural information including weather forecasts, growing degree days, soil survey data, satellite vegetation indices, and commodity prices. The app sources data from public agencies (USDA, NOAA), satellite providers, and market data providers. We make reasonable efforts to deliver accurate information but do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data shown.
Information in the app is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional agronomic, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for your farming, crop-protection, irrigation, and financial decisions. Do not rely solely on the app for decisions that affect crop yield, equipment safety, regulatory compliance, or financial outcomes.
VerdaraX offers Pro and Premium auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store.
The app integrates with third-party services (Apple, Anthropic, AgroMonitoring, USDA, Open-Meteo, Yahoo Finance). Their availability, accuracy, and terms are outside our control. Your use of features that depend on these services is subject to their own terms.
If you use the AI Field Advisor feature, your prompt and a snapshot of the selected field's data are sent through our backend to Anthropic. AI responses are generated by a language model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Always verify AI suggestions against authoritative sources before acting on them.
You agree not to: reverse-engineer the app, attempt to access data belonging to other users, use the app to violate any law, or interfere with the operation of our backend services.
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the app, including loss of crops, profits, data, or business interruption.
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the app, in whole or in part, with notice when reasonably possible.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted in the app on next launch and will take effect 14 days after posting.
